Sorry guys, I have been missing for a while.

How to be present in the web as an artist?
I have a question and I am sure there is not just one answer: How does an artist increase web presence?
In particular: How does one get more deviant art watchers, blog readers, twitter followers, face-book fans.
I am aware it is important to: Update on a regular basis, write well, follow others as well, REACT on other artists, etc. Are there any other good tips I'm missing? Good articles?

Fantastic news: A while ago I submitted a piece of fan art at the "Year of the Fan" contest at South Park Studios with "Night of the Living Ginger". 15 artists would be chosen to be exhibited next to original pieces from the show and other professional artists interpreting the show. Out of thousands of applications, mine made it! I am very proud and happy, as the piece will be exhibited at the San Diego Comic Con 2011 at the South Park Fan Experience.
PS: I have no idea how to show my picture here in this post, LOL.
